Product Safety and Responsible Use Policy

1. Scope

This Policy provides general safety principles for products sold by FeruToys. It does not replace the label, manual, warnings or instructions supplied by the manufacturer. Product-specific instructions always take priority where they provide stricter precautions.

2. Adults, Capacity and Consent

Products are intended only for adults who are at least 18 and have reached the age of legal majority. Every activity involving another person requires that person’s freely given, informed, specific and ongoing consent.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. A person who is asleep, unconscious, incapacitated or unable to communicate cannot provide valid consent. Products must never be used to coerce, restrain, punish, exploit or harm another person.

3. General Safety Rules

Before use:

• read the manufacturer’s instructions, warnings, ingredients and contraindications;
• verify that the product, accessories and packaging are intact and not recalled;
• clean or prepare the product exactly as instructed;
• confirm material, lubricant, condom, charger and accessory compatibility;
• establish a safe environment, communication method and quick-release plan where relevant; and
• do not use a product while judgment or coordination is materially impaired.

Stop immediately if there is pain, burning, bleeding, numbness, breathing difficulty, loss of circulation, allergic reaction, electric shock, overheating or unexpected malfunction. Obtain medical assistance when appropriate.

4. Not Medical Advice

Website content and general product information are educational and commercial information, not diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Unless expressly and lawfully identified as such, products are not represented by FeruToys as medical treatments or as preventing, diagnosing or curing disease.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you have a medical condition, recent surgery, pregnancy, an implanted device, unexplained pain, impaired sensation, skin disorder, allergy, circulatory issue or uncertainty about suitability.

5. Product Inspection, Cleaning and Storage

Inspect before and after each use for cracks, sharp edges, exposed wires, corrosion, leakage, swelling batteries, loose fittings, weakened seams, contamination or other deterioration. Do not use a damaged product.

Follow cleaning instructions and use only compatible cleaners. A product described as splash-resistant is not necessarily submersible. Dry fully before charging or storage. Store away from children, pets, direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture and incompatible materials.

Do not share a product intended for personal intimate use unless the manufacturer permits safe sharing and an appropriate barrier and cleaning protocol is used.

6. Materials, Allergies and Compatibility

Check product and ingredient information for latex, fragrances, preservatives, metals, adhesives or other allergens. Conduct a patch test where directed. Stop use if irritation occurs.

Some silicone products can be damaged by silicone-based lubricants, and oil-based products may weaken latex condoms. Follow both the product and condom manufacturer’s compatibility instructions.

7. Products Intended for Insertion

Use only products designed for the intended body area. Use adequate compatible lubricant and never force insertion. Products used anally should have a secure flared base or retrieval feature designed to prevent full insertion.

Do not use an item with cracks, sharp edges or a porous or degraded surface. Do not move a product between body areas without appropriate cleaning or a new barrier. Seek medical assistance for a retained object, significant bleeding or severe pain; do not use improvised tools for removal.

8. Catheters, Sounds, Dilators, Douches and Enemas

These products can cause injury, infection or other complications if misused. Use only for the purpose stated by the manufacturer, with the specified hygiene procedure, size, lubricant, fluid and duration.

Do not perform urethral insertion or other higher-risk internal use without appropriate knowledge and, where advisable, guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. Never use excessive force. Stop at pain, bleeding, resistance or loss of sensation.

9. Bondage, Restraints and Impact Products

Bondage and restraint require informed consent, continuous supervision and a reliable quick-release method. Agree communication signals and a safeword before use. Keep safety shears or keys immediately accessible where appropriate.

Monitor breathing, skin colour, temperature, sensation and circulation. Never suspend from a product not expressly rated for suspension. Avoid nerves, joints, the front and sides of the neck, kidneys, spine and other vulnerable areas when applying pressure or impact.

Do not leave a restrained person unattended. Stop immediately if there is numbness, tingling, weakness, panic, breathing difficulty or colour change.

10. Collars, Gags, Hoods and Blindfolds

Products around the head or neck present breathing, choking, panic and communication risks. They must not obstruct the airway or prevent rapid removal. Never use them on a sleeping, intoxicated, unconscious or unsupervised person.

Do not use a collar for suspension or load-bearing unless it is specifically designed, rated and used under expert conditions. Ensure gags and hoods permit safe breathing and maintain a non-verbal release signal.

11. Chastity Devices and Penis Rings

Confirm correct sizing and check circulation regularly. Do not use when swelling, numbness, discoloration, coldness or pain occurs. Remove immediately if safe to do so and seek medical help if symptoms persist or removal is not possible.

Keep emergency removal tools available where appropriate. Do not wear for longer than the manufacturer recommends.

12. Vacuum Pumps and Suction Devices

Use only the pressure, duration and release method specified by the manufacturer. Excessive suction may cause bruising, tissue injury or circulatory problems. Stop if there is pain, marked discoloration, numbness or swelling.

People with bleeding disorders, anticoagulant use or relevant vascular conditions should obtain professional advice before use.

13. Electrostimulation Products

Use only purpose-designed accessories and the manufacturer’s approved placement. Never place current across the chest, through the head, on the front or sides of the neck, or on broken or insensate skin.

Do not use electrostimulation if you have a pacemaker, implanted electronic device, significant heart condition, seizure condition or pregnancy unless a qualified healthcare professional and the manufacturer confirm suitability. Start at the lowest setting and never use near water unless expressly approved.

14. Vibrators, Machines and Powered Toys

Keep moving parts, cables and mechanisms clear of hair, loose clothing and unintended body areas. Use guards, attachments and emergency stops as instructed. Secure machines on a stable surface with adequate clearance.

Do not exceed duty cycles or operate an overheating, noisy, damaged or unstable device. Switch off and disconnect before cleaning, changing attachments or inspecting a fault.

15. Batteries and Charging

Use only specified chargers, cables, voltages and battery types. Charge on a stable, dry, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials. Do not charge an unattended, wet, swollen, punctured or unusually hot device.

Do not crush, open, burn or improperly dispose of batteries. Follow local recycling rules. Stop use and isolate the product safely if there is smoke, hissing, chemical odour, swelling or leakage.

16. Furniture, Swings, Poles and Load-Bearing Equipment

Installation must follow the manufacturer’s structural, fixing and surface requirements. Confirm that ceilings, walls, doors, floors and mounting points can carry the stated dynamic load. If uncertain, use a qualified installer.

Observe weight limits, inspect fasteners before each use and use protective mats or spotting assistance where appropriate. Do not substitute components or use damaged straps, frames, anchors or poles.

17. Condoms and Safer-Sex Products

Check the expiry date, packaging integrity, storage instructions, size and compatibility. Use a new condom for each act and follow the manufacturer’s opening, application and removal instructions.

Oil-based products may damage latex. No contraceptive or barrier method eliminates all risk of pregnancy or sexually transmitted infection. Products must not be presented as offering protection beyond their authorised and labelled purpose.

18. Lubricants, Cosmetics and Intimate-Care Products

Read ingredients, intended application, warnings and expiry information. Do not use internally unless the label expressly permits it. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin unless specifically intended.

Check compatibility with condoms, toys and materials. Stop use and rinse as directed if burning, rash or irritation occurs. Persistent symptoms require professional advice.

19. Aphrodisiacs, Supplements and Ingestible Products

Use only as labelled and do not exceed the stated dose. Check ingredients, allergens, interactions, age restrictions and warnings. Do not combine with medicines, alcohol or other supplements where the label advises against it.

These products must not be treated as substitutes for medical care. Seek professional advice if you take medication, have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or experience an adverse reaction.

20. Massage Candles, Oils and Body Paint

Follow temperature, flame, patch-test and body-area instructions. Never leave a flame unattended. Extinguish a candle before pouring if directed and test temperature on a safe area first.

Keep oils and paints away from eyes, damaged skin and materials with which they are incompatible. Check whether they weaken condoms or stain fabrics.

21. Erotic Clothing, Latex and Leather

Follow sizing, care, ventilation and allergy guidance. Latex may cause allergic reactions and can be degraded by oils. Tight garments must not impair breathing or circulation.

Keep clothing away from open flame and heat sources. Clean leather and latex only with products intended for the material.

22. Product Compliance Information

Product pages and accompanying materials may identify the manufacturer, importer, EU responsible person, model, batch, serial number, conformity marking and warnings where required. Do not remove safety labels or identifiers.

23. Recalls and Safety Notices

FeruToys may contact customers using order details where a safety warning or recall affects a purchased product. Follow instructions to stop use, isolate, return, repair or dispose of the product.

Current safety notices may also be published on the Website. A recall remedy may include repair, replacement, refund or another remedy required by law.

24. Reporting an Incident

Report a product accident, serious near miss or safety concern to info@ferutoys.com. Include the order number, product identifier, date, description and non-intimate photographs where useful. Do not send unnecessary intimate images or medical records.

In an emergency, contact local emergency or poison-control services first. FeruToys may have a legal duty to share necessary incident information with manufacturers or authorities.

25. Limitation

This Policy provides general precautions and cannot address every product, person or situation. Nothing in it excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to defective or unsafe products.
